A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME & SOMETHING ELSE

I have been helping clients with their voice, communication and learning journeys for almost 30 years.  Daughter of Laura Spicer (Spicer Ameldian Associates Ltd. and former Director of Sound Practice for the Society of NLP) and Nicholas Spicer (Analytical Psychologist), and with many more of my close family being singers, teachers, artists and actors, the seeds of curiosity in voice, communication, learning and well-being were sown from a young age. I began my NLP journey in the 1990s, attending courses in London with Dr. Richard Bandler and Paul McKenna, and have had the privilege of being a member of Paul McKenna’s assisting team for many years. I started a professional path in voicework with my mother Laura in the 1990s. I trained in her techniques while working closely with her. I later moved to Spain, where I lived for 10 years, and learnt to communicate in a foreign language for the first time, which was challenging, formative, and an experience which added to my ideas, knowledge and love of the ways that we communicate. Since my return to the UK ten years ago, I have continued working as a coach, consultant, mentor and trainer with private clients and in a variety of corporate and business settings.  I enjoy working with children on their learning journeys, in classrooms and 1:1, helping them to find their passion for learning, language and vocal skills. And I particularly love working with both adults and children for whom English isn’t their first language.

Voice has always been a Spicer family passion, as has helping people to feel more confident in their lives. Exploring how the voice can be used purposefully in all its variety, has been a much loved family pastime as well as a professional dedication.  It is an honour to continue to share so many of my families’ tools and techniques, along with my own, and something which is very close to my heart. Whether running group trainings or working closely with an individual, the NLP techniques and strategies I use are the magic ingredients, making learning purposeful and pleasurable and helping my clients transform and achieve their goals.
